Work Offer Method About Book a call

Tell me the process. I’ll tell you if I can help.

Marr Advisory helps operators fix the messy handoffs in planning, procurement and logistics — the rekeying, the exceptions, the tools that don’t talk. You work with Phil Marr directly. Not a bench of juniors.

The work

Supply chains still run on workarounds.

01

Handoffs that leak time

Orders, invoices, ASNs, claims — they arrive as files, mail, or spreadsheets. Someone retypes them. The error lives in the gap.

02

Exceptions are the job

Your team spends the day chasing the mismatches, not running the plan. That is where the hours go.

03

Tools without an owner

ERP, Xero, MYOB, Excel, a warehouse portal. None of them close the loop unless someone designs the next action.

Offer

Start with the process. Build only what fits.

Step 0 · 25 minutes

Discovery call

You describe how the work actually runs. I tell you honestly whether there is something worth fixing — and whether I’m the right person for it.

  • — No pitch deck
  • — No obligation
  • — Clear next step or a clean no
Complimentary
Step 1

Readiness review

Map the real process and the constraints. Leave with a plain answer: is there an opportunity, what it is, and roughly what it is worth.

  • — Process and exception map
  • — Systems you already run
  • — Opportunity articulated in writing

Step 2+

Scoped package

If it is a fit, I design a programme around that problem — not a fixed menu. You accept, we contract, then we get to work.

  • — Proposal for your process
  • — Contract when you say yes
  • — Build with clear gates

Method

Tell me the process. Then we decide.

01Tell me the process

A short discovery call. How the work really runs — clicks, emails, spreadsheets, systems.

02Readiness review

Is there a real opportunity? I articulate what it is, what it is worth, and whether automation (or simpler process work) is the answer.

03Scoped proposal

A package designed around that problem — not a fixed catalogue. You accept it, or you don’t.

04Contract and build

We write the agreement, then get to work with clear gates. Your team owns the outcome.

One example among many

Document in → system updated

Purchase orders are a common starting point. The same pattern applies to invoices, ASNs, claims, delivery reconciliations, and other handoffs — on the systems you already run.

About

Eighteen years inside the operation. I fix the parts that should never have been heroic.

I’m Phillip Marr. I have led national planning, inventory and 3PL work across building products and dairy — S&OP / IBP, network design, and the ERP programmes that sit underneath.

I know what a real planning week looks like. Marr Advisory is built from that seat: practical process and automation work for operators who are tired of workarounds.

You deal with me directly. If it is not a fit, you will hear that early.
